More about me:
I'm Emma your local go-to 'Sling Guru'
And I love supporting local parents with all things carrying
Just a few years ago, I was a new parent who felt completely overwhelmed by babywearing. I wanted it to work straight away, but things always felt a little off, but one day at a group someone encouraged me to seek support (and here's the big caveat there wasn't any locally, so had to go further afield) and try a different type of carrier. That one conversation completely changed my experience and showed me how much of a difference the right guidance can make. That journey inspired me to train as a babywearing consultant with Slingababy and Carrying Matters. I continue to invest in regular professional development, so I can offer families safe, evidence-informed support that's always up to date. Today, I support families across Hastings and East Sussex through home visits and studio consultations. Every session is tailored to you, because no two families, babies or bodies are the same. Whether you need a quick fit check, help choosing your first carrier, or support learning a new carrying skill, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable. Over the years I've worked with hundreds of different carriers on families of all shapes, sizes and stages. If something doesn't feel quite right, I'll help you understand why and guide you towards options that suit your body, your baby and your lifestyle, not simply what's most popular or expensive. Little One Snug began with local pop-up events and has grown through recommendations from families and the support of wonderful local organisations. I'm incredibly grateful to the community that has helped it flourish, and I'd love to help you enjoy your own babywearing journey too.

Quick F.A.Qs

Do you sell slings... I mainly hire out from my library and can then point you to authorised, long-standing and trusted retailers. I often have discount codes too. While I do sell a few items, it does depend on the brand, I am able to dropship Lenny Lamb, Mamaruga and Neko. I have an affiliate code for Izmi, and occasionally I'll do a library clear out. If you are after something quite specific or at a certain price point I can always ask out among my consultant network to see if anyone is moving something along too. My inclusive hiring period (a standard one week with Full Consults) tends to have enough overlap for you to purchase your own, but I've made extending hire quite affordable too! To learn more about hires, drop me a message using the form above, or head to the site menu to navigate to the right section!
What does a consultation include? - Wrap around support from my first correspondence. I'll always answer any questions, provide initial thoughts, suggest what I think might work and why etc. – Sessions are always hands off baby unless I have permission, or there's a want from you otherwise, and any guidance given is always super gentle. _ A session can include anything you want it to and I'm happy to tailor things as you need – whether that be learning how to back-carry, pop your newborn into a stretchy wrap, feeding in the carrier, exploring different slings before buying something new and so on! – We can always get creative with solutions during longer sessions if needed too! - Post session so you're not struggling to remember every detail I'll provide recap tutorial reference videos too – I'll always check in with you post session too with opportunity for free photo fitcheck. – support that always friendly, as well as judgement free – You'll always see my passion! I want to help you achieve your goals - even if after session you change your mind on a sling at the time you loved! Any more questions? Just drop me a message on my contact form above :)
